It should end up being configurable. It utilized to be ctrl and it was extremely annoying. People thought it was a insect. Every time you ctrl+z a brush heart stroke you produced, it would unintentionally change the size of your brush. I wouldn't use a modifier key for this. Using alt will interfere with something for sure On 20 Jun 2016 09:00, 'Soumitra Saha' [email protected] published:

Under the Tool Modifiers tabs of the Configure Cutting corners window, there'h listed shortcuts to change the minutes and potential brush size. Nevertheless, they don't really seem to perform anything. Perform these in fact work for anyone? |

the ones in the modifier tab seem to be incremental raise/decrease. The one proposed here is structured on cursor placement - while a button is held. Like stated before- toonz currently offers this efficiency in harlequin- it is definitely established to use the ctrl essential. That is usually a horrible design selection, because nearly generally after making a incorrect stroke and you ctrl+z it - the software resizes the size of your brush to some absurd quantity. It is a problem nevertheless in harlequin i think. I are glad opentoonz removed it - that factor was frustrating as hell. But I consent on the sentiment that having the option to provide it a specific modifier essential (like a letter on the key pad, anything but ctrl, change or alt) would become much better than totally getting rid of it. As for incremental resize of brush ideals- that will be well caught bug. it does not work. I filed a pest statement: #480 |

I was searching at this program code last night. It doesn't look like it would be too tough to carry out. I have always been out there and received't be capable to touch it for a bit, but it shouldn't be too difficult. |

I agree with @adamearle, Krita will it actually properly: Shift+LeftClick amp; Drag (to the best to increase, to the remaining to reduce). I put on't see the need to use multiple changer keys or the correct mouse switch. Change+LeftClick amp; Drag is actually basic but difficult to cause by accident, consider it. The modification to separately change the Minutes/Max radius could be added to OpenToonz , as @2deyesight recommended, with: Remaining/Right Move - Max size decrease/increase Down/Up Pull - Min size lower/increase It shouldn't consider too very much to train your muscle memory space to use this, and it remains very near to another item of great FLOSS software. Think about the overlapping user base, too. |

I produced a PR for this issue on #685. Best right now it utilizes Ctrl + Alt as the result in keys to end up being constant with Painter and Cut Studio Color. Computer mouse up/down adjustments max worth, mouse still left/right adjustments min worth. I like Krita, but the method the brush device is set up right right now, clicking on whether or not really there is a changer key actually paints. @blurymind this isn'testosterone levels configurable yet, but Ctrl + Alt are simple to reach on both mac and home windows key-boards, so it should still be usable. |

Hey, it's excellent having a brush-size shortcut that functions like this - but maybe should also work regularly for the eraser? 'U' amp; 'I' function for the eraser but not really CTRL+ALT |
